My favorite type of dance is jazz. For one the music is my style. I think music has alot to do with dancing personally. I mean for some of my lyrical peices I have chosen No Light, No Light By Florence + The Machine, it is very powerful when it gets the the chorus and I believe it can really push you to the limit. I dare you to try dancing to the song and comment on how it went. The song kind of brings me to my highest potential if that makes any sense. It is so powerful and strong, and songs like that make me try and push myself. For a jazz peice I am working on, I chose Katy Perry Firework, this song is very pop and fun and makes you want to get up and make the crowd start dancing! I mean, thats one of the goals for me when I dance in front of an audience; to make them smile, to make them get up and enjoy the music! For a hip hop peice, I like songs like this: Cher Lloyd Swagger Jagger, it doesnt have much of like that street kind of rap which I hate, you know? This one is fun, funky, and its what hip hop is all about! I hope you enjoyed this post, and check later for one full of fashion!
